Abattoirs use gasses as a refrigerant; these include Ammonia, CO2, and CFC – HCFC gasses. At TQ Environmental, our Abattoir Monitoring System helps any products stored in very large freezer rooms, which have their temperature controlled using chillers and freezer packs that have large amounts of refrigerant contained within them.

There is always a potential risk leak of gasses from areas of the process, either monitoring the atmosphere where the animals enter or external pipework, all of which are hazardous.
Gas detection system would also be required for the refrigerant plant rooms, along with all the chillers.
Systems that can be used are:
- TQ8000 TOUCH up to 48 Sensors
- TQ4200 up to 24 sensing points
- TQ4300 up to 24 sensing points
- TQ4000 up to 4 sensors
- TQ126 – 1 sensor
