Carpark & Vehicle Gas Detection System
Gas detection is essential in ensuring the safety of people in enclosed spaces such as car parks. Carpark & vehicle gas detection systems are essential within car park areas, whether underground on multi-levels or ground floor level with air intake to buildings. The sensors would need to be placed where there is a likelihood of a build-up of gasses.
The carbon monoxide detection system would operate extraction fans that are capable of removing the toxic gas away from populated areas or queues of stationary traffic waiting to pay to leave the car park. They would also alert staff of any impending issues. Please find out more about how TQ Environment can keep your car park safe today using our simple enquiry form below.

Carbon Monoxide Detection
Carbon monoxide (CO) is the primary gas that is given out of the car/van exhaust systems. The risk of going without carbon monoxide detection, which can cause CO ingestion, can cause dizziness and may also bring on sickness, shortness of breath, and tiredness. Therefore, alarm thresholds are set low to ensure safety is of the utmost importance. Other gasses include CO2, NOx (nitrogen oxides) and NO2; all are potential risks.
Workshops can potentially have toxic and flammable gasses present from fumes or from leaking petrol tanks. When work is carried out in pits underneath the cars, vans, or even diesel trains, the sensors must be placed in the pit area for the best detection.
