Hotel Air Conditioning London
One of our regular customers won the project to install a complete hotel air conditioning system (VRF) for a brand-new Hotel Riu in the heart of London in Victoria. This was a first in the UK for this high-end hotel company. So, they wanted to strike a look that gave its customers an immediate impression of luxury while providing a stylish feel to the hotel. The TQ products complimented the look very well.
TQ Environmental provided several different styling options for the TQ31 faceplate, and the hotel gave us the go-ahead to install the black facia, which would fit perfectly in the fresh and modern bedrooms. With over 430 bedrooms and many open spaces to be covered, this was another one of TQ’s large Hotel VRF applications carried out to date. Each part of the project had to be signed off to ensure the build ran to plan with no holdups.
How We Help
This allowed us the opportunity to plan deliveries of our equipment and so gave us a chance to have a dedicated member of staff working on the project, coordinating with the install company when leak detectors and panels were required onsite and to what floor they would be installed so that we could pre-programme the TQ32 area alarm panels. Hence, they were fully functional once installed, and the individual TQ31 room sensors had been connected.
Our engineers spent a week onsite with the AC install team to ensure that everything ran smoothly and all the TQ32 panels connected seamlessly to the TQ35 reception panel, providing the 24-hour staffed reception with a continuous view of the entire leak detection system. Our lead engineer commissioned and signed off the whole project to ensure full compliance with EN378.
All in all a perfect fit for this major food distribution facility.
