Paces Charity
TQ initially got involved with Paces in 2021 when we met with them at an expo over in Doncaster. Some of the team had worked with a charity that we had previously been involved with, so the meeting was a case of chatting with some old friendly faces.
Paces is a fantastic charity that specialises in care for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy and other motor disorders. They provide life-changing skills through conductive education.
We decided to get involved as this was the local charity that was doing a great job enriching and enhancing the lives of not only the young people they looked after but also the wider family too, and we felt this was a really good opportunity to give something back and be a part of the Paces community.
Throughout the year, they hold plenty of events, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved in different ways to help raise much-needed funds to keep Paces going. We became founder members of the Paces 300 club, which sees like-minded businesses come together to support this life-changing work and help raise the money required to keep Paces moving in the right direction.
Being involved with charity is something we can help make a difference.

Our Community
Sheffield Steeldogs
TQ Environmental’s involvement with the Sheffield Steeldogs first came about back in 2018 when we became a sponsor for the team. However, the opportunity was in part due to our MD Gary Hall’s son-in-law, who played for the team and had previously been sponsored as a player by Gary’s family.
The opportunity to sponsor the team was a great way to give something back to the community and get involved with the team. The atmosphere is fantastic at the games, and it has a real family feeling; the team always puts in 100% effort whether winning, losing or drawing; they are always in it together and work hard for each other, which is something that TQ hold close to their own working values. Every season we enjoy a family’s day where all the staff and their families are invited for a bite to eat and watch a game. This is always a well-supported event, and the staff always look forward to an afternoon out at the ice arena.
We also take the opportunity, whenever possible, to sponsor the game and take along some of our customers; it’s great to see the reaction of those who have never attended a game before and how involved they get with the action on the ice.
